Case 39
Good morning: I found your website, much to my dismay, because it means I may have been scammed. I ordered 2 Leopard Tadpoles for my granddaughter on August 7, 2010 for $5.98 plus $7.05 for shipping, total $13.03. I received confirmation for the order from Watercritter, and the charges have appeared on my credit card. I have not received the order, nor have I received any answers to my emails. I tried calling the number (1-662-279-3641) and it is no longer in use. That's when I realized I might have been scammed and did some more research, finding your website. Any suggestions as to what my next move should be? Thank you. Kathy
Case 37
I was scammed by watercritter.com also. I ordered mosquito fish for our pond and never received them, though my card was charged 3 weeks ago. I have tried to contact them several times through their website and I have not heard back from them. I could not find more information about them until I found your blog. I have filed a White Collar Crime complaint with the FBI and plan to file one with the BBB.
